COVID-19 with Multiple Bacterial Co-infections: A Case Report

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious which was first identified in Wuhan, China December 2019. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) responsible for this ongoing pandemic worldwide. COVID-19 itself has high mortality rate but addition with bacterial co-infection, the risk of death amplifies much higher. The diagnosis along other co-infections can be difficult task due to similarities their presentations. Here, we present case 60-years-old gentleman who positive, co-infected three types pathogens, were Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Enterobacter spp. and Pseudomonas. patient isolated treated according pathogens’ culture sensitivity reports discharged when his condition improved advised routine follow-up. source co-infection could not may have been hospital acquired. Therefore, every should give utmost priority infection prevention control (IPC) strategies.
